Summer Time and the Living is Easy

The Brothers of Beta Gamma Epsilon have been enjoying another awesome summer at 234 Commonwealth Avenue. We have been doing plenty of outside grillin’ and chillin’ in this amazing weather. We have even been enjoying movies on the roof!
The roof once again allowed us to enjoy a spectacular 4th of July fireworks show. The city of Boston did a great job of putting together a thirty minute visual masterpiece.
A few brothers also ventured to Vermont for a very relaxing and fun weekend getaway, thanks to one of our brother’s family’s cabin. We took full advantage of the area’s picturesque lakes and woods during our time there.
Now as the summer ends and the fall begins, we are very excited for rush to start. Rush will be between 9/19 through 9/28. More information to follow soon!

Wrapping Up Spring Semester

As this springs classes comes to an end it means that our senior brothers have graduated. The Brotherhood would like to congratulate Josh Gomes, Dan Magner, Nick Johnson and Dan Sheridan on their accomplishment and wish them well in all their future endeavors.
Apart from academics Beta Gamma Epsilon has had an exciting spring. This April the brothers participated in the Muddy River Clean-up as part of an Earth Day celebration that aims to clean up the Charles River. (More info here: http://www.crwa.org/cleanup.html) In addition to our efforts at the river we also once again participated in the Back Bay's Alley Rally. This is an event where volunteers come together in the Back Bay and work together to clean trash in the areas alleys.
On top of our community service endeavors the brothers have had some fun as well with a brotherhood comedy trip and a brief post semester vacation to North Carolina.
Last but not least a HUGE congratulations to the now two-time AEPi eat-a-thon champion Tommy Hayes!�
